World Autism Awareness Week 2021 is taking place 29 March – 4 April.

The last year has been incredibly hard for everyone but for some autistic children, young people and their families it’s been a nightmare due to the changing routines, high levels of anxiety and general disruption to everyday life.

Monday 29th March

Friday 2nd April

For World Autism Awareness Week 2021 we’d like the children and young people to explain in their way what it’s like being autistic. This could be done by drawing, crafts, poetry, writing, a short film, photos of projects i.e. Minecraft, gaming, general sharing of their interests. Everyone who takes part will get a certificate. Every autistic person is different and while they may experience some challenges, they also have many strengths and talents that we’d love to celebrate.

Please just add submissions under our Facebook post or email them to children@actionasd.org.uk for us to share (with permission of course)
