Children's Activity Sessions & Job Vacancies

posted 13 May 2021, 01:32 by Gemma Sampford
We are pleased to announce we are now recruiting staff for our children's activity sessions which are due to be back up and running from mid June 21!

Due to the charity being evacuated for safety concerns from our previous resource centre at Kings Mill in August 2019 and then the pandemic lockdowns, our popular and much needed activity sessions stopped. Kings Mill is still closed due to the safety concerns relating to the unsafe chimney.

We now have a new Autism Support Centre based at King Edward House, 9 Finsley Gate, Burnley, BB11 2HA. The building is split into to parts and the children's activity sessions will be held in the annex which will be specifically set up for the children's activities! More details about the building will be sent out soon.

We are very excited to get our services back up and running in a face to face environment. In order to do this we have created a new position within the charity, a new Children’s Activity Programme Supervisor. This role has been created to oversee the running of the activity sessions. The job description is attached below along with a Family Support Worker vacancy and Play Support Worker vacancies.

Please pass this information on to anyone who may be interested in applying. All applications need to be submitted via the NHS jobs website. The links to the adverts are below.
